An illustration by German artist Carl Ritter von Dombrowski (1872-1951), featured on page 57 of "Natur und Haus" (Nature and Home), Berlin (1897).  Dombrowski's drawing was obviously inspired by Kretschmer's, which was produced sometime before 1872.  Incidentally, no platypus predation by thylacines has ever been observed or recorded.
